Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 08:15AM Ann VanderHeide received treatment at Zeeland Hospital on Monday, February 20 when her heart was found to be in atrial fibrillation. Medication was provided and Ann returned home that same day. Please pray that the heart will stay in proper rhythm--and that God will keep the blood pressure within reasonable range.
Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 08:13AM Anabelle Graham, special needs daughter of Angela, was admitted to the DeVos Children's Hospital on Sunday, February 19. She is receiving treatment for a cold and virus that are making it difficult for her to maintain her oxygen levels.

Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 07:36AM Amanda Veldman was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital on Thursday evening, February 16 following a spiking in her symptoms with Crohns Disease. She is currently receiving treatment and nutrition through IV treatments
Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 07:35AM Jeff Walters will be having arthroscopic outpatient ankle surgery at St. Mary's Southwest Surgical Center on Thursday, February 23. He will be required to avoid all weight-bearing for a minimum of six weeks.
Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 10:17AM Jean Wynsma traveled to the Mayo Clinic on January 31. Doctors confirmed that the mass has grown—placing pressure on a blood vein that is causing increased pain. She will meet with the doctor on February 22 to determine when to begin radiation treatments--and to determine their duration.
Monday, February 13, 2012 at 03:21PM We extend our Christian Sympathy to Gale and Bill Wind upon the passing of Gale's mother, Jean Breckon. Mrs. Breckon passed away on Thursday, February 9. Visitation will be at the Cook Funeral Home in Grandville on Tuesday, February 14 from 2:00-3:30pm; the Memorial Service will begin at 3:30pm. Additional visitation will occur on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm. Additional Fellowship Family includes grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Matt and Sarah Wind (Nolan and Emmersyn); and Stefanie and Praveen Perni.
Monday, February 13, 2012 at 10:01AM Bill Huitema was found to have new tumor growth in his bladder during the scoping procedure on February 2. Therefore, he underwent additional surgery on Monday, February 13 at St. Mary’s Hospital. The doctor was able to remove the tumor in its entirety. Bill will now undergo the same treatments that he had following the first surgery. Please pray that these treatments are successful in eliminating all of the cancer. Bill is expected to return home on Tuesday, February 14.
Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 08:04AM Jenny Bruins suffered a fall earlier--injuring her hand but not requiring surgery. Upon further evaluation, however, it appeared that surgery was necessary. The procedure took place on Tuesday, February 14. She is now recovering at home.
Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 08:02AM Randy Klein traveled to a U of M medical office in Ypsilanti the week of January 22 regarding a potential diagnosis of pancreatitis. He returned to the same clinic on Thursday, February 9 to undergo an endoscopic ultrasound of his pancreas. The results were inconclusive. Additional tests will follow--including genetic blood work to discern the possibility of Auto-Immune Pancreatitis.
Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 10:31AM Jack Kalkman met with the cardiac/thoracic surgeon on Wednesday, February 8. He then underwent an extensive round of testing February 13-17. Doctors will now meet to discuss their surgery plans. Surgery on the ascending aorta may occur during the last week of February or first week of March; surgery on the descending aorta would take place 4-6 weeks following the initial recovery.
Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 10:29AM Melissa Timmer had surgery on Friday, February 17 at Zeeland Community Hospital to remove the right-half of her thyroid. Doctors had become suspicious concerning a questionable nodule.
Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 10:28AM Betty Hodson had surgery on Thursday, February 16 at Blodgett Hospital to remove an intestinal tumor.
Monday, February 6, 2012 at 02:06PM Emily Lopez is currently in the final trimester of a very difficult pregnancy. As a result of the pregnancy, she has been experiencing constant sickness--as well as an excessively rapid heartbeat. Additionally, the rapid heartbeat has caused a spike in her earlier diagnosis of pulmonary stenosis. Emily underwent an EKG on February 6. A growth ultrasound of the baby took place on February 9; the results were very encouraging.

4. Please pray for those who are struggling with drug and alcohol abuse.
5. Please pray for those who endure chronic pain on a daily basis--battling illnesses and diagnoses that have minimal treatment options.
6. Please pray for those who are currently incarcerated and/or working through a probationary period.
