S.A.L.T. (Empty Nesters)
S.A.L.T. stands for "Sharing and Laughing Together" and that is just what this group does. Activities are planned for five or six times a year incorporating a variety of activities for the group.
Supper for Eight
These groups are eight people who meet together four times during the year to share a "supper." Each group decides when and where to meet.
Hudsonville Christmas Parade
Each year Fellowship enters a float in the community parade. Everyone is encouraged to participate in it's construction and decoration.
Memorial Day Parade
The holiday parade is on Baldwin Street in Jenison and will be held on May 28, 2012. We decorate a float and pass out candy to the kids along the parade route. Volunteers are needed to decorate and dismantle the float, walk the parade route and/or donate candy.
Redoration
A special group of women who love to wear red and purple meet together to share fellowship and fun. You must be at least 50 years old to attend. Activities are planned for the group to attend various events throughout the year.
Crop Circle (Scrapbooking)
If organizing photos into works of art is something you enjoy, then this group is for you. Crop Circle meets the first Friday of each month (except the summer months) at church in the Fellowship Hall. They meet from 6:00pm to midnight. Ideas are shared along with fun and fellowship.
Motorcycle Group
During the summer months bikers will ride to a special destination to have some ice cream or dinner together.
Faster Pastor Race
During the Berlin Fair the annual Faster Pastor Race is held. Our own Pastor Mike competes for the title. Bring the whole family to this evening at the races!
Detroit Tigers Game
At least once a year FRC enjoys, a bus trip over to Detroit to see the Tigers, live in action, enjoying a nice day with friends, soak up some sun, and get ready to catch a homerun ball! This year we are going on April 21, 2012.
Christmas Caroling
A church wide Christmas Caroling outing is hled each Christmas. The Congregation goes out to local nursing facilities, to sing songs, give joy and spread love.
Sew What?
If sewing is your hobby - then this is the group for you! We meet on the second Monday of the month from 9:00am - 1:00pm. We will make items that will help others in need.
